He was predeceased by: his parents, William H. Miles and Hattie Depp Miles; his daughters, Joyce Anne Hutt and Janet L. Miles; his wife Mary Lizzie; his stepmother Hattie Green Miles; and his brother Cleveland Miles.
He is survived by: his children, Linette Berry, George Miles, Jr. (Bubbie) and William H. Miles (Bill); his grandchildren, George Miles III of Tallahassee, FL, Tiffani Thompson (Elen) of Dallas, TX, Brittani of Laurel, MD, Courtni Banaci (Othello) of Hyattsville, MD and William Miles II of Salisbury, MD; his siblings, Pearl Gray (James), Robert Lee (Thelma), Jack (Pearline), James and William (Hot Rod); his aunt Grace Hillard; and his great grandchildren, Ezra Ian Thompson of Dallas, TX, George Trenard Miles, Trenayah Tamar Miles and Trenard Nytron Miles of Miami, FL. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
