Franklin W Adams Obituary
Franklin William Adams, also known as Frank, passed away peacefully on December 10, 2023, in Salisbury, MD, at the age of 90. He was born on September 22, 1933, in Salisbury, MD. to the late John W. and Esther E Adams.
Frank proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. His military Associations were a significant part of his life, and he carried the lessons during his service throughout his years.
After his military service, Frank had a distinguished career with Dresser Industries, where he dedicated 22 years of his life. In 1991, he retired, leaving behind a legacy of hard work and dedication Outside of his professional life, Frank had a passion for NASCAR Racing and was an avid fan of the Washington Commanders Football team. He actively participated in the AARP and was a proud member of the American Legion.
Frank will be deeply missed by his wife of 67 years, Dorothy J. Adams, son Franklin W. Adams, Jr., and his grandsons Logan H. and Chandler S. Adams.
In addition to his cherished family, Frank leaves behind a community that respected and admired him for his service, dedication, and love for his hobbies. His memory will forever be etched in the hearts of those who know and loved him.
A funeral Service will be held on Thursday December 14, 2023 at 10 am at Holloway Funeral Home with one hour visitation from 9:00 – 10:00 am.
