He is survived by: his siblings, Regis Dotterweich and Maragaret Bossetti; and his children, Francis X. Dotterweich Jr. of Baltimore, Joseph J. Dotterweich of Boltimore, Kathleen M. Dare of Salisbury, Eric C. Dotterweich of Poulsbo and Kurt M. Dotterweich of Salisbury. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
