She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Hiram Hewitt and Madeline Roe Long Hewitt; her children, Samuel Floyd Ruark, Jr. (Nancy) of Salisbury, Christopher (Melissa), Gloria Lynn Fleming (Glenn), Jamie, Brandon of Jean Maldve, Regina (Andrew), John Lowell Ruark (Jeri) of Salisbury, Jessica, Jason and Courtney; her sister Ruby Cheseldine of Bushwood; her daughter-in-law Norma S. Ruark of Salisbury; her husband Samuel Floyd Ruark, Sr.; her children, Frederick "Larry" Lawrence Ruark and Florence Ann Core; and her siblings, Pearl Long, Helen Ruark, Hilda Richardson, Joseph, James "Jim", Francis, Benjamin, John Hewitt, Pete Maldve and Ernest J. Core. She was also cherished by several other cousins, nieces and nephews.
