He is survived by: his children, Aretha Conaway (Carl), Aratha Powell (Eugene), Tonya Perry (Derrick) and Alfred Brown; his stepson Victor Fields; and his daughter-in-law Joyce Brown. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
