It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Evelyn Effie Deel of Salisbury, Maryland, who passed away on December 14, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd W. Coleman and Emma Fluharty Coleman; her husband Emory Bryan Deel; and her siblings, Floyd Coleman, Ruth Eason, Louise Blades, Alma Hobbs, Barbara Gannon and Dorothy Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Michael "Brian" Deel (Linda) and Sandra "Sandy" Jean Raynor (Scott); her grandson Aaron Christopher Raynor (Robyn); her great grandchildren, Emory, Aaron and Armon Raynor; her siblings-in-law, Betty Sirmons and Douglas Deel; her close friend Katherine Daffin; and her pets, Mamma Kitty and Kit Kat. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service in compliance with Maryland COVID restrictions will be held Friday at 2pm at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury where friends may visit one hour prior to the service.
