He was predeceased by: his parents, Vaughn Charnick and Helen Landon. He is survived by: his wife Diane Dryden Charnick; his sons, Earl James Charnick (Gail) and Eric Charles Charnick (Katy); and his grandchildren, Dylan, Kyle, Julia, Makayla, Gracie and Jackson.
