It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella Gaddis-Purnell (Salisbury, Maryland), who passed away on February 10, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her great-grandparent Ella Louise Gaddis-Purnell; her parents, Jesse O. Jones-Conway and Annie M. Jones-Conway; her husband Bernard Purnell, Sr.; her children, Wardell Fennell (Pamela), Anthony Fennell (Tonya), Hersel Gaddis (Marcelline), Karen Cottman of Salisbury, Maryland and Deborah Roberts (Eric) of Salisbury, Maryland; and her stepson Pastor Bernard Purnell, Jr. (Pastor Rene) of Bowie, Maryland. She was also cherished by thirteen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews and cousins; a special niece, Shirley Morgan, a special nephew, Floyd Wright, Jr. and other relatives and friends.
