Edith Carol Smith Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edith Carol Smith (Salisbury, Maryland), born in Sanford, Virginia, who passed away on March 15, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Arvandous Godwin and Mary Helen Trader Godwin. She is survived by: her children, James W. Smith, Jr. (Barbara) of Parsonsburg, Tommy Mears and Carol Ann Bedsworth of Princess Anne; her stepson Steve Smith of Salisbury; her grandchildren, Jamie Fritschle (Grant) of Ocean City, Stephanie Bolden of Oriole and Brian Smith of Millsboro, DE; her great grandchild Aubrey Fritschle; and her sisters, Elizabeth White of Parsonsburg and Minnie Yoder of Sanford, VA. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to the Disabled American Veterans, Wounded Warrior Project, and or St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
