He was predeceased by: his parents, James Ward Cassel and Lucille A. Cassel. He is survived by: his sister Nancy L. Catlin (Kenneth Catlin) of Severn, MD; his niece Kara Leigh Moore (Wayne Moore) of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and his nephew Aaron C. Catlin (Mary Kate Catlin) of Glenville, PA.
