He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Reece Rathel, Sr. and Yvonne Doris Rathel; his sons, Donald Reece Rathel III of Delmar, DE and Jason Michael Rathel of Delmar, DE; his siblings, Donna Cantwell (Mike) of Salisbury, Darrell Rathel of Delmar and Dwayne Rathel (Julie) of Delmar; his nieces and nephews, Michelle Hudson (Brad), Mardela, MD, Sa'fari of Delmar, MD, Aaron Abbott of Salisbury, MD and Corey Rathel; and his grandchildren, Reese, Natalie and Noah. He was also cherished by several aunts and cousins.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Rick's memory to the Department of Veteran Affairs.
