He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles William Elswick and Ori Orvil Price; his son Isaac B. Elswick; and his great grandchild Layton Slate. He is survived by: his sons, Burley W. Slate (Marlene) and Bobby J. Elswick (Rhonda); his grandchildren, Wayne B. Slate (Sherry), Bruce D. Slate, Robert J. Elswick (Marty) and Brittany N. Altekruse (Michael); his siblings, Charlie Roger Elswick (Elaine), Gertrude Richardson (Bob) and Faye Brown; and his close friend Rita Farmer. He is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
