She was predeceased by: her parents, Howard James Collins and Alice Crosell. She is survived by: her husband Charles E. Thomas; her children, Tyrone Smith, Jr., Basil Johnson, Jr. (Tara), Stephanie Carter, Teria Smith and Tinishia Johnson; and her brothers, Jeffery James Collins and Christopher Williams (Cheryl). She is also survived by eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; several nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
