She is survived by: her husband Donald Ayres; her sons, Leroy O'Brien Manuel (Marion Bennett) of Pocomoke, Maryland and Jordyan Cropper of Pocomoke, Maryland; her godson Veshawn Bratten Jr.; her daughter Markeshia Bratten (Jesse) of Salisbury, Maryland; her goddaughters, Maria Purnell of Snow Hill, Sha'haira Ballard Salisbury and Maryladn; her siblings, Donald Ballard (Ivy), Wayne Ballard (Vanessa), Brynelll Ballard (Fayette) of Snow Hill, Leroy Ballard (Carletta) of Temperanceville, Virginia, Andre Allen, Corrine Allen, Gloria Copper (Bill) of Wilmington, Sara Ames of Snow Hill, Maryland and Dolly Williams of Snow Hill, Maryland; her grandchildren, Artaijah Spence, Jailah Purnell, Jessi, Jessini Bratten, Destanee Harris, Ezekiel, Elijah Whaley and Leriyah Manuel; her great grandchildren, Ar'Brii Spence and Jerry Satchell III; and her friends, Queenie Dennis, Alice Shields, Mary Handy, Rose Bull and Wanda Sturgis.
