He is survived by: his wife Nancy Laycock; his children, Anne-Marie Snodgrass (David), Laura Laycock, Andrew Laycock (Richie) and Sister Linda Hale (Billy); and his grandchildren, Diontae Wilson, Trevian Wilson, Lauren Snodgrass and Ashley Snodgrass. He is also survived by eleven nieces and nephews.

“I am broken hearted to hear of Dave's passing. Dave moved in next door to us Kensington around 1969.He became a cherished friend and loved by my family. There was a time when we did everything together. Dave had one of the best sense of humor of anyone I have ever known. I apologize for not attending his service,as I had company at home from California. When I think of Dave I always have a smile..We loved him dearly..God bless Dave and his family”
