He was predeceased by: his parent Robert Walters; his former wife Ruth Mallory Weaklem; his half-brother William Baughman; his stepson Chris Ford; and his grandparents, Nellie Long and Charles F. Burkholder.

He is survived by: his parent June Burkholder Baughman; his wife Mary Sue Ford Walters of Salisbury; his daughters, Kellie Walters Betz, Donald Snuffer of Maugansville, MD, Kristal Walters Elzey and Susan Driver of Salisbury; his stepchildren, Darin Ford (Lisa) of Mt, Roy Ford (Vickie) of Deal Island and Paula Brown (Bobby) of Parsonsburg; his grandchildren, Brandon Betz, Amanda Yeadt (Robert), Kristina Rowe, Zachary Elzey, Jennifer Daniels, Lauren Brown and Ryan Ford; his great grandchildren, Paris Betz, Jude Betz, Brooklyn Rowe, Amberlynn Elzey, Jaxon Yeadt, Hayden Ford, Lucas Ford, Doc Daniels, Gracie Daniels and Dawson Daniels; his sisters, Virginia Burk of Harrisburg and Peg Carter of Harrisburg; his half-sisters, June Baughman of Hagerstown and Jane Baughman of Hagerstown; and his siblings-in-law, Ted Webster, Dickie Webster, Shirley White and Sylvia Anderson. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
