He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles David Spangler and Hilda Bernice Hudgins Spangler; and his sister Valerie White. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Spangler; his sons, Charles P. Spangler of Manchester and Joseph T. Spangler of South Bethany, Delaware; and his brothers, David Paul Spangler and John Jefferson Spangler.
