He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Deal and Emma Deal; his former wife Amy R. Fenner Deal; his wife Rev. Christine B. Deal; his brother Alton Deal Sr.; his sister-in-law Ruth Deal; and his stepsons, Billy Saunders and Darryl Saunders.
He is survived by: his daughters, Lena Deal of Hebron, Charletta Deal of Hebron and Amy F. Deal of Hebron; his grandchildren, Makia Orr, Olo'ye' Makia Ifalewa (Chief), Olo'ye'Awogbemi Arifatu Ifatosin, Tia Roberson, Shameka Johnson (Alan), Tiera Crockett (Michael Garner) and Demehza Deal Askins; his great grandchildren, Shawn Brown Jr., Paris Parsons, Amayah Roberson, Lakyla Roberson, Jakai Pinkett and Demire Askins; his great great grandchild Aadyn Ayres; his siblings, James Deal, Ralph Deal (Shirley), Sidney Deal (Martha), Clyde Deal and Doris Saunders; and his sister-in-law Erla E. Beale. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, church family and friends.
