He was predeceased by: his parents, John Thomas and Sara Silvia (Henderson); his wife Shirley Silvia (Adkins); and his siblings, Thomas Edward Silvia and Shirley Ann Ryland.
He is survived by: his children, Nancy S. Hearn (Bobby) of Novi, MI and Charles B. Silvia, Jr. (Pamela) of Salisbury; his grandchildren, Brian Hearn (Hannah), Craig Hearn (Kathleen), Steven A. Silvia, Kirstie Silvia, Lindsay Silvia, Wyatt Hearn, Lochlan Hearn, Dominic Hearn and Declan Hearn; his sister Jackie Eberts (Greg); and his sister-in-law Edna Silvia. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
