He is survived by: his wife Viola Beckett Bivens of Princess Anne, Maryland; his grandson Donté Lamont Bivens of Camp Springs, Maryland; his sisters, Joanne Burnette (George) of Princess Anne and Gloria Jones (Richard) of Avenel; and his siblings-in-law, Justine Moore, Phyllis Bivens, Bertha Spates (Lamont), John Beckett (Kathy), Irvin Brown, Johnnie "Boy" Beckett, Joe Marshall, Charles Bivens, Wendell Brady and Mickey Polk.
