It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carol Ann Gilbert of Salisbury, Maryland, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 1, 2024, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Glen Gilbert; and her parents, Joe Hipple and Florence Hipple. She is survived by: her siblings, Lynda E. Forsythe, Joseph Hipple of Monroeton and Kenneth Hipple of Panama City; her children, Carol Jean Kile (Carl) of Salisbury, Robert J Urbanski of Stewartstown, John J Urbanski of Pottstown and Christine A. Slawecki (Blake Slawecki) of Royersford Pa; her grandchildren, Jessica Smith (Ryan Smith) of Bozman, Joshua Kile (Lindsay Kile) of Salisbury, Robert C. Urbanski of Collegeville, Kendall and Riley Slawecki of Royersford; her great grandchildren, Eli, Skye Smith and Hallie Kile; and her stepchildren, Carol Lindsay, Dianne Kresge, George Gilbert and Mark Gilbert. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
