She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Oden and Amy Baker Oden; her husband Orlando A. Gross; her daughters, Renee Oden and Sonya Jackson; her sister Paula R. Drake; and her son-in-law Irving Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Tamira J. Boynes (Harold) and Craig O. Gross; her goddaughter Dominique Barnes; her niece Melissa Y. Gwaltney; her granddaughters, Chantira Benn-Gross, Kayla Gross, Deija Boynes and Bria Boynes; and her great grandchildren, Lahnaiyah Gross and Kyaire Penny. She is also survived by other nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, in-laws, and friends.
