She was predeceased by: her parents, Helen Quaile and Clemon Parker; her husband Calvin E. Spicer; her sons, Robert Quailes, Henry Quailes, Alfred McDaniel, Louis McDaniel and Bruce McDaniel; her son-in-law Donnie A. Harris; and her sisters, Ethel Woolford, Annie Smith and Hattie Conway.
She is survived by: her children, Blanche Inezz Harris and Billy Quailes of Newport News, Virginia; her siblings, Fred Smith (Gloria), Roy Smith, Lily Richards and Virginia Smith; and her close friend Tricia Banks. She is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-eight great-great-grandchildren; twenty great-great-great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
