With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Moore Simms (Salisbury, Maryland), born in Glasgow, Virginia, who passed away on October 18, 2019 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Moore and Edith Moore; and her stepmother Frances Moore. She is survived by: her husband William E. Simms Jr.; her daughter Janet Kennington (Corey) of Eden; her grandchildren, Alex Simms, Giselle Simms, Katie Parsons (Jake), Zachary Simms, Noah Simms, Wilton Kennington and Caroline Kennington; and her great grandchildren, Cole Parsons and Emma Parsons.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, MD, 21802, or to St. John's United Methodist Church, 312 E Main St, Fruitland, MD 21826.
