She is survived by: her husband Donnell Barksdale; her daughters, Sharon Kennedy, Yvonnda Bonneville (Linwood), Shanita Oliver, Mary White (Patrick), Tyrhonda Oliver and Yolanda McLean; her siblings, Vivian Frazier, Gloria Lee Flood, Catherine Thompson, Ricky Frazier (Debbie) and John Thompson, Jr.; her sisters-in-law, Irene Stokes and Paula Dixon; and her close friend George Ballard. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
