He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Bishop. He is survived by: his mother Margie Wilson; his stepfather William Wilson; his son Cordonte Ayres (Jean); his granddaughter Layla Law; his close friend Elizabeth Newman; his brother Fenton Ayres; his stepsiblings, Regina Wilson and William Wilson, Jr.; and his aunts and uncles, Audrey Stanley, Dorothy Shelton, Randolph Bishop and Isaac Ayres (Jackie). He is also survived by one niece; several cousins and many, many dear friends.
