She was predeceased by: her spouse Sidney "Sid" McCoy, Sr.; and her siblings, Alfonsie Purnell, Mary Copeland, Shirley Harvey, Linwood Stevenson, Nathaniel "Jack" DeShields, Jr. and John Harry DeShields.

She is survived by: her children, Kendall "Buster" Stevenson (Amanda), Debra Ann Price (McKinley), Mary Diana Price, Wayde Preston Price, Johnny Edward Price (Anne) and Michael Ray Price (Glenda); her stepson Sidney McCoy, Jr. (Carol); her siblings, Martha M. DeShields, Catherine "Kate" Handy and Albert L. DeShields; her aunt Edith "Bea" Lankford; her brother-in-law Harold W. Purnell; and her friend Rennie Corbin. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
