She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur W. Phillips and Ethel M. Phillips; and her grandson Steven Simmons. She is survived by: her children, Jean Simmons (Raymond) of Cambridge and David Adams (Marni) of Newtown Square, Pennsylvania.; her grandsons, Brett Simmons and Peter Adams (Mike); and her stepgrandsons, Devin Popper (Savannah) and Nolan Popper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
