He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Edward Adkins and Alice Mae Coulbourn Adkins; his wife Iva R. Adkins; and his brother William Adkins. He is survived by: his sons, Keith Adkins (Lora) and Jerry Adkins (Jane); his grandchildren, Amanda Adkins (Rob), Nicole Twilley (Chris), Adam Adkins and Chris Adkins (Erika); his great grandchildren, Ava Twilley, Ella Twilley and Benjamin Adkins; his friend Irene Askland; and also Gay Adkins.
