He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther Jr. Truitt and Audrey Truitt; and his wife Karen. He is survived by: his sister Kay Twigg; and his sons, Bryce Allen Truitt (Jason Thomas Truitt) and Bailey Nichole Truitt. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Donations in memory of can be contributed to the Coastal Hospice & Palliative Care, and the Fruitland Christian Church.
