He was predeceased by: his parents, Delos Adkins and Eleanor Mae Adkins; and his children, Aldren Adkins, Jr., Larry Adkins and Betty Stottlemeyer.
He is survived by: his wife Peggy of Pocomoke City; and his children, Tom Adkins (Frances) of Salisbury, Bill Adkins (Delores) of Pocomoke City, Ray Adkins (Teresa) of Stockton, Phillip Adkins (Aaron) of Pocomoke City and Gloria Mills (Richard) of Snow Hill. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
