She was predeceased by: her parents, James Sherwood and Hazel Asche; her husband Norman Mott Shannahan III; her siblings, James "Shorty" Sherwood and Ethel Goldsborough; and her granddaughter Elizabeth Lewis.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marion Shannahan Lewis of St. Michaels and Deborah Shannahan Mackendrick (David Ray) of Easton; her grandchildren, Gillian Shannahan McBryde (Patrick) and Christian David MacKendrick (Erica); her great grandchildren, Noah, Ashton and Adelina; her brother Graham Sherwood (Debbie Sherwood); and her pet Sophie.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ Church (301 S Talbot St, St Michaels, MD 21663).
