He was predeceased by: his sister Dorothy D'Imperio; and his grandson Andrew Yuan Hang Sefton. He is survived by: his wife Elaine Sahm Doherty; his children, Julia Cason (Richard), John Sefton (Kim), Brian Sefton and Peter Sefton (Linda); his grandchildren, Amy, William, Joseph, Marie, Peter, Jennifer, Elizabeth and Douglas; his stepgrandchildren, Kate of Molly and Nickolas; and his brother Ronald Sefton of Chesapeake. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
