With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Beatrice Louise Wharton (Saint Michaels, Maryland), born in Wittman, Maryland, who passed away on March 9, 2020 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George M. Jones and Elizabeth J. Fairbanks Jones; her brother David C. Jones (PoJoe); and her nephew Wayne Jones. She is survived by: her brothers, Charles I. Jones (Bookie), George W. Jones (Buddy) and Thomas J. Jones; her husband Earl W. Wharton (Buddy); her sisters-in-law, Edith Wharton and Nida Spurry (Joe); her nieces and nephews, Doug Morris (Becky), David Jones (Effie), Jeff Wharton (Susan), Steve Jones (Kim), Tim Jones (Jackie), Erin Gottleib (Jesse), Patti Wolferman (John), Yvonne Pace (John), Joe Spurry (Parker), Guy Spurry (Mary) and Dolores Nagler (Rick); her cousin Ellie Briggs (Randy) of Summerville, SC; and her close friends, Vicki Morris and Sharon Jones. She is also survived by great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews.
