It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Patricia Lynn McDowell of Saint Leonard, Maryland, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Barbara Ann Smith and Roy Smith; her sisters, Mary Price, Zonie Sanner and Amanda Bevin; and her mother-in-law Joan McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Justin McDowell (Delaney McDowell) and Ashley Abner; her grandchildren, Marlee Abner, Lacey Abner, Riley Abner and Jonnie McDowell; her husband Buddy; her sisters, Pearl Gilmore, Shirley Hall, Sarah White and Dotty Chobanian; her father-in-law Albert McDowell Sr.; her brothers-in-law, Richard McDowell and Jeff McDowell (Sharon); and also Cissy. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home–lusby (20 American Ln, Lusby, MD 20657). A funeral service will be held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Adam's Ribs.
