She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert R. Worthy and Gertrude Worthy (O'Toole); her son Kurt Gilmer; and her brothers, Robert M. Worthy and Donald Worthy.
She is survived by: her husband Hensel "David" Gilmer, Jr.; and her children, Gail Beckmann of Olney, MD and Cheryl Gilmer (Art) of Dunkirk, MD. She is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
