He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Earl Haney, Sr. and Norma Claire Haney (East); and his sister Carol Joan Haney McVey. He is survived by: his wife Jeannette Haney (Amonett); his brothers, Raymond Earl Haney, Jr. (Hildalia) and Robert Michael Haney; and his nieces and nephews, Ryan Haney, Chad Haney, Elizabeth McVey, Maisy Haney, Bobbie Haney, Wyatt Haney and Quinn Haney.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Rausch Funeral Home-Port Republic (4405 Broomes Island Rd, Port Republic, MD 20676). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations can be made to the Chesapeake Bay Foundation or to the Hospice of the Chesapeake where David spent his final days at the Charles County Inpatient Hospice Center.
