He was predeceased by: his parents, William "Billy" Carroll and Mary Victoria Carroll; his siblings, Veronica Rothwell, Lorraine Carroll, Kenneth Carroll, Joseph Carroll, Carl "Cash" Carroll (Nola), James Carroll and Wayne Carroll; and his in-laws, Alice Pollock, Hilda Brown (Austin), Connie Smith-Roberson (Robert) and Marvin Smith.
He is survived by: his wife Brenda Carroll; his daughters, Louise Briscoe and Tanny Taylor; his stepchildren, Anthony Smith (Tony), Tamara Smith (Tammy), Gerard (Rod) and Campbell (Tammy); his grandchildren, Kevin, Darrell, DeAnna, Vernicia, DeJuan, Donte, Robert, Daniela, Nathaniel and Hailey; his sisters, Carolyn Wilson (James) and Angela Carroll; his siblings-in-law, Elaine Carroll, Sharon Lewis, Theresa Mason (Daniel), Valencia Smith, Herbie Smith (Karen), Edward (Bubbie) and Furney Pollock; his godchildren, Tammy Campbell, Lamont Crafton, Calvin Butler (Bunny) and Horace McClane (Lil Reds); his close friends, James Thompson (JimBoy), Wayne Barnes and Stanley Langley; and his cousin Rosetta Thomas (Rose). He is also survived by 15 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Peter Claver Catholic Church (16922 St Peter Claver Chr Rd, St Inigoes, MD 20684). A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
