We are sad to announce that on June 20, 2020, at the age of 76, Robert Wetzel of Sabillasville, Maryland, born in Emmitsburg, Maryland passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ross E. Wetzel and Esther Wetzel (Hess); his grandchildren, Dakota and Lacie Wivell; his siblings, Ethel, Glenna, Doris, Frances, Edward and Bill; his brother-in-law Clarence Shriner; and his friend Harry Fogle.
He is survived by: his wife Darlene Ann Wetzel (Shriner); his children, Robert Wetzel (Annette) of Warfordsburg, PA, Michael Wetzel (Shannon) of Thurmont, Cathy Reaver (Vince) of Emmitsburg and Lisa Wivell (Rick) of Fairfield; his grandchildren, Jessie, Jaedyn, Madison, Dalton, Zoe Wetzel, Vincent Jr. (Amber), Robert, Justin Reaver, Amanda, Rikki, Levi and Colby Wivell; his great grandchild Nancy Cool (Leroy) of Emmitsburg; his niece Marylee Shriner of Thurmont; and his friend Susie Fogle of Smithsburg.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help the family with final expenses.
