Mary Effie Buhrman Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Effie Buhrman of Sabillasville, Maryland, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 28, 2024 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Minnie Magdaline Stottlemyer (Eyler) and Leister Stottlemyer, Sr.; her husband Lloyd C. Buhrman; and her brothers, Leister Stottlemyer, Jr., John Stottlemyer, Andrew Stottlemyer and Kenneth Stottlemyer.
She is survived by: her children, John R. Buhrman (Beverly), James E. Buhrman (Gail) and Loretta F. Davis (David); her grandchildren, Daniel, Luke (Jenn), Melissa (Mike), Carol (Tim), Joel (Jen) and Ben; and her siblings, Anna Weikert, Kathryn Brown, Martha Shaffer, Dorothy Buhrman and James Stottlemyer. She is also survived by 9 Great Grandchildren, numerous Nieces, Nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 2nd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the J. L. Davis Funeral Home (12525 Bradbury Ave, Smithsburg, MD 21783). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
