He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Randolph Smith and Janetta Mildred Smith (Kendall); his wife Rena Imogene Smith (Brown); and his siblings, Harry, Goldie, William, Bina, Charles, Mildred, Harvey, Clyde, Catherine and Henry.
He is survived by: his son Carl Lee "Tater" Smith (Sue); his grandson Travis Smith; his great grandchildren, Cole and Callie; his sister Josephine Eyler; and his niece Nancy Eyler. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
