She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Fitz and Elaine Fitz; and her sister Nancy Black. She is survived by: her husband Robert John Lopata; her children, Debra Dowdy and Kim Lopata; and her grandchildren, Katelyn Dowdy, Nathan Lidke, Connor Yanchulis and Tyler Egrie.
The family is asking if friends would consider making monetary donations to Amedisys Home Health Care (hospice) at 107 Chesapeake Boulevard, #124, Elkton, MD 21921 in the name of Doris, for the incredible care they bestowed upon Doris at her end of life.
