It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roberta Lee Jenner Aquilla Thogerson (Rockville, Maryland), who passed away on December 29, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent Silver Spring, MD; and her daughter Karen Lynn Shannon. She is survived by: her aunt Georgia; her cousin Richard Green; her former husband David Thogerson; her son George Thomas Thogerson; her husband Frank Shannon; her grandchildren, Nik, Lucas, Michael, Daniel and Madelyn; her great grandchild Gabriel; her son-in-law George Shiblie; and her sisters, Emogene Bevitt and Terrie Fajardo.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Patrick's Catholic Church (4101 Norbeck Rd, Rockville, MD 20853). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Friends House Senior Association, 17340 Quaker Lane, Sandy Spring, MD 20860.
