He is survived by: his sisters, Karen Kanaber and Barbara Cillie; his wife Myrna Gewirtz Mandel; his children, Seth Richard Gewirtz Mandel and Rachel Marie Gewirtz Mandel; and his grandsons, Xavier Richard Mandel Pacris and Julian Bernardino Mandel Pacris.
