With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Rachel Walker (Rockville, Maryland), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Rachel left this world on February 24, 2025 at the age of 92, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Jewel Watson Gary and Roy Gary; and her siblings, Lavoice Gary, Naomi Gary Ward, Alvin Gary, Bill Gary, Gene Gary, Lester Gary, Christine King West and Robert King.

She is survived by: her spouse Orvis Walker; her sister Loretta; her daughter Debbie Schwartz; her granddaughter Michelle Plumbtree Fate; her great grandchildren, Noah, Sophie Joy, Luke, Ruth, Moriah, Joel and Elijah-James; her grandson Tyson Plumbtree; her son Dr. Kyle Walker; and her granddaughters, Natalie and Brooke Walker.

In lieu of flowers to honor Rachel's generous spirit, the family invites you to donate to a charity of your choice in her name.
