Though Irene Flora may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Irene Flora touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Irving Dixon; and her parents, Lawrence Gibson and Jessie Gibson (Poole). She is survived by: her children, Della Cleveland, Patricia Mullens, Lawrence Dixon, Donna Riley, Robert Dixon and Paul Dixon; and her granddaughter Joanne Dixon. She is also survived by 26 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hilton Funeral Home (22111 Beallsville Rd, Barnesville, MD 20838). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Thursday, December 19th 2024 at the same location.
