With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Vernon Cirtis of Rockville, Maryland, who passed away on February 20, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Harold Vernon leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his son Christopher Adam Curtis; his parents, Harold Oliver Curtis and Anne Jane Brewer Curtis; and his brother Edwin Curtis. He is survived by: his wife Gail Bergeron Curtis of Rockville, MD; his son Josh Curtis (Michelle Hessel); his grandsons, Oliver Curtis and Ian Curtis; and his close friend Zeke Curtis.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Hathorn Funeral Home (167 Hwy 198, Columbia, MS 39429). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at the Woodlawn Cemetery.
