He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Nacey Magee and Francis X. Magee, Sr.; and his brother Robert. He is survived by: his wife Maryanne; his sister Kathleen Moffa; his children, Colleen (Eric Wohlust), Christine (Christopher Zalewski) and Michael (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Jacob Wohlust, Madeline, Katherine Zalewski, Julia, Caitlin and Ryan Magee.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Cross Catholic Church (4900 Strathmore Ave, Garrett Park, MD 20896). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his name to Catholic Charities, Holy Cross School.
