He is survived by: his children, Jerry, Vicki (Ed), Mick (Rebecca), Candi (Allen) and Kym (Nicole); and his grandchildren, Shelby, Samantha (Brian), Eddie (Marcella), Rachel, Taylor, Michael, Erin, Andrew and Reece.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association, causes close to Elton's heart.
