She was predeceased by: her husband William "Bill" Vita, Jr.; her daughter Joan; her siblings, Aloysius (Venerable Aloysius Schwartz), Louis "Lou" Schwartz, Mary Flanagan (John), Rose Herold (Hubie) and Margaret "Margie" Mercier (Ernie); and her parents, Louis Schwartz and Cedelia Schwartz.
She is survived by: her children, Joseph (Phyllis), Maria and Theresa; her grandchildren, Nicholas, Frank, Aloysius, Mary (Greg), Joey, Kristina (Emil) and Sierra; her great grandchildren, Eliana, Damian and Lukas; her sister Joan Baur; and her friend Mary Healey. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
